Last Minute Father’s Day Gift Ideas
With Father’s Day only a few days away, you may find yourself scrambling for that last minute gift. At this point it may be too late to order a gift box you saw online weeks ago, or to spend a day out shopping for the perfect tie. Now that it has come down to the wire you could use a couple of quick, easy, and thoughtful last minutes gift ideas. Well good news, we have found some that you are going to love!
Let’s start with this fantastic list of pun gifts! These are simple and cute but your dad will love them! There are thousands of these out there but here are a few of our favorite. For each one you will have to get one or more items and then add a tag or card that has the pun!
Item: New Grilling Spatula
Tag: “I flippin love you Dad” or “Dad, you’re flippin awesome”

Tag: “I love you to pieces Dad”
Item: A bag of golf tees or a basket full of different golfing items.

Does your Dad love to grill? Make him a manly apron to wear when he does. This can be done with a plain apron and some iron on letters from a craft store. You can customize it to say whatever you want. Check this one out!
Make it fun for the kids! If you have young children I would suggest helping them to make DIY gifts for dad! There are tons of gift ideas out there for kids to make for their fathers. Here are just a few simple examples.
- Have your kids decorate a coffee mug, picture frame, tile coaster, etc with paint, sharpies, etc. Then use a sealant top coat to keep the art work on there forever.
- Take a picture of your kids holding a sign that says best dad ever and frame it. Take a picture of the kids and put it in a Father’s day picture frame.
- Have the kid make coupons for Dad. Some can be for them to do chores around the house and others can be for one on one date with Dad. For example, a coupon for a fishing date or a coupon for one unloaded dish washer.
Get creative and get your kids involved. There are so many different ideas for homemade cards, Father’s Day-themed meals you can make, or even fathers day skits you and the kids can act out to tell a story about their dad!
